Pay What You Can

We don't want to make any assumptions about anyone's current situation, so if $13.50 doesn't work for you right now, and some other amount does, we want to make this available to you.

We're starting this at $2 just to make sure it's worth it from the costs/fees associated (we assume the fees) with tickets and purchasing - and if that's not in your budget currently, please take from the Complimentary Passes pool!

Need 1, Take 1 (37 remaining)

These tickets are reserved for folks who could use could use a financial break and some sponsorship for their continuing education.

If that's you, and you know you can attend UX Camp, please take a complimentary admission--these have been purchased already and are provided by our sponsors, our community, and ourselves.

If tickets are unavailable, please check back frequently as we'll update whenever we have new donations, and we'll also share on twitter @chicagocamps.

I'm Only Donating or Buying a Shirt

Hey there! Sorry about this hassle--TicketSpice makes it a requirement to "buy" a ticket, even if you only want to donate or buy a t-shirt.

So, we're hacking this very restrictive and janky user experience so you can get what you want and need in one place, with only a bizarre extra step!

Please buy this free ticket so you can donate or buy a t-shirt. We'll handle the rest (like canceling the ticket) later and all will be fine and dandy!

Pay It Forward Ticket Passes (If you're able to contribute)

If you're thinking of donating, well, you're awesome! This ticketing system requires a quick hack, though: You'll need to scroll back and get 1 "I'm Only Donating or Buying a Shirt" ticket above just a little bit.

Please scroll back and select that ticket, then come on down here and donate!

Purchase passes for people who need them! Pay It Forward passes are $10 each.

If you're fortunate enough to be in the position to help others, you could add to our pool of tickets that we're holding for people who may have a need for a complimentary pass for their continuing education.

We've set up an honor system that gives people access to these tickets, no questions asked. It's enough to maintain in very trying times; we don't feel the need to make anything more challenging by asking personal questions that aren't any of our business.

So if you'd like to contribute to the pool, we'd love to have you do so.

And if you buy 5 tickets or more, we'll throw in a free t-shirt!

One Last Thing

Howdy! So, hey, this is the most awkward part of the events business, but we have to let you know that tickets are NON REFUNDABLE (sorry for yelling).

If you want to sell or transfer your ticket to someone else, that is completely up to you, and you'll need to create an account in order to do that.

When you purchase your ticket, you understand this, agree to it, cross your heart and all that good stuff. Thanks!

Final_Final_v03 (Last thing, really): When you accept a ticket to one of our events, you also acknowledge that we're going to add you to our mailing list. We won't sell your information, or give it away, and we typically send an email every couple of weeks as events are coming up (and weekly when we're getting close to the event). In the technical side of things, this also gets you quickly connected to our online conferencing system and registered with your own access. We hope it doesn't trouble you much, and you won't hurt our feelings if you quickly unsubscribe--we sincerely understand!

Congrats! You've made it to the bottom of the longest-ever event-ordering form! Thanks for sticking with us! :-)
